The Waypoint Offshore and ISO 9650 liferafts have been designed for maximum

safety in case of an emergency.

Waypoint Liferafts are suitable for all aspects of yachting, whether cruising or

racing, fishing vessels and other commercial vessels whose needs are covered

by the ISO 9650-1 standard.

Our Offshore range starts from the 4 man liferaft and goes all the way to the

14 man. In the ISO 9650-1 range we currently have the 4, 6, and 8 man models

available. Both of the above models are available in a bright high visibility blue

valise or in a glassfibre highly polished canister.

use of the best known quality fittings and materials for our Offshore and

OFFSHORE LIFERAFT

This very popular liferaft has undergone extensive changes to make it an even better and safer liferaft.

The major changes include :

The introduction of the complete Leafield inflation system. This U.K. made inflation system is considered to be one of the best in theindustry and consists of all the vital parts that will ensure a safe and quick inflation.

• The operating headand  the firing head,
• the inflation valves,
• the pressure relief valves and the top up valves.
• An improved larger entrance with zip enclosure.
• 240 litres, 4x60litres each water pockets. These large water pockets feature a quick fill System which should stabilize the liferaft immediately upon deployment.

Technical specification of our Liferafs

	Solas approved natural rubber fabric, which is very strong and flexible, in comparison for example to PVC which is hard and brittle in cold temperatures and very soft under sunlight and heat.
	Solas approved (orange) high visibility nylon fabric canopy.
	International standard p approved cylinder.
	High-spec Leafield pressure relief valves.
	On the ISO 9650-1 we use exclusively Leafield valves throughout and the Leafield firing head directly injecting air into the tubes without any hoses, thus eliminating the risk of a leak even more, making the whole inflation system even safer.
	Four large water pockets (60 litres each and 75litres each on the ISO models) that make the liferaft a steady platform to board and also keep it stable in severe weather conditions.
	Automatic light inside but also outside - especially useful if you're plunged into darkness at night. ( On the ISO models, these lights are Solas approved )
	Solas approved reflective tape on all sides of the canopy as it will make it easier for the rescue operations to locate your raft in the dark.
	Outlook window, so you can have a 360 vision at all times.
	Insulating floor is standard on all models as is an air-circulating window. So if you do have the occasion to find that you have to take shelter in a Waypoint Liferaft, all of these features will make your stay more comfortable, but also safer.
	A self-inflating boarding ramp and a two-step ladder makes each Waypoint Offshore and ISO 9650-1 Liferaft easy to board from the water. The entrance is large but also has a safe closure, and the provided handles on the inside aid your entry.
	The entry on the ISO 9650-1 models is even larger to facilitate a helicopter pick up and to ensure that it stays closed and watertight, by the use of the heavy duty high quality zips.
	A rainwater collection system with spare water collection bags (as you need to collect the maximum amount when it rains),
	Comprehensive RORC safety package.
	The Safety package for the ISO 9650-1 models complies and exceeds the ISO regulations as it includes water (½ litre per person) and extra flares.

	Each raft is vacuum packed to ensure that it is kept dry and well maintained for the time in between its service intervals. Salt water is very hostile to its close neighbours.

All Waypoint Offshore and ISO 9650-1 Liferafts come in either a bright visible valise or a strong and polished canister and weigh between 26kg for a 4-man liferaft in a valise to 60kg for a 14-man liferaft in a canister.

The Waypoint ISO life raft is a robust life raft that has been designed to comply with the strict ISO 9650 -1 Group a Regulations for <24 and also >24 with the addition of extra equipment and can be provided in a valise or container.

This life raft meets the MCAs code of practise.

Its construction is of a natural rubber fabric with two twin independant large tubes and a high arch that increases the interior head room and is also fitted with a thermal floor.

Also as standard is a two rung step ladder on to a large boarding inflatable step to aid boarding the life raft in all conditions.Once on the inflatable step there is also a grab handle midway and on top of the chamber leading to the hand ladder inside the main body again to assist you into the life raft.

To help the life raft there are 4 large deep water / ballast  pockets of 75 litres each,(more than the ISO requirment of 220 litres for a 4 person life raft) this offers more stability in all situations rough or smooth seas.

 The inflation system is SOLAS approved in every one of its parts  as is the  lighting system for the exterior and interior.

The canopy is of a bright orange nylon  and is self erecting on inflation which in turns provides a large entrance to facilitate boarding , (even with an inflated life jacket!) and  has reflective tape on all sides. There is also an look out window and when not in use and the entrance is closed ther is also an air vent to cirulate  the air inside so you dont have to open the entrance in rough seas to let fresh air in and possibly the sea!!

This ISO approved life raft fully tested to ISO 9650-1 group A Specs is vacummed packed  and offers a 3 year servicing period where applicable.

This includes the operating head and firing head, direct injection link on to the inflation valves, the inflation valves, pressure relief valves and top up valves. By using this high quality ISO system, Waypoint Liferafts are well into the quality liferaft market.

We also do away with the hoses, thus avoiding one more weak link in the inflation chain.

Hoses perish, break, kink and by avoiding them there is one less item to go wrong in the emergency procedure.

These changes are placing the Waypoint Liferafts ahead of the competition. We are perhaps the ONLY Liferaft manufacturer that offers these quality fittings and still remains extremely competitive in price.

We stock a full range of leisure life rafts.

We carry stocks of 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 man SeaSafe ISO approved life rafts which are available in flat pack or valise. These include ORC to SOLAS B packs.

Our new self righting 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 man liferafts come complete with insulated floor and 2 entrances, ORC to SOLAS B packs are available.
